FAQs

Spirit of Texas Festival (SoTxFEST) is dedicated to supporting the local charity community. We also strive to support local vendors, hotels and merchants.

Our educational mission is very close to our heart. We team with Mays Business School’s Department of Marketing and Texas A&M University to provide a unique educational experience for Aggies as they help plan and execute the Festival and for children across Texas by offering a specially designed program including everything from chemistry experiments to milking cows. We believe education is not confined to a classroom.

The festival only schedules Texas musical groups. No matter what style of music you enjoy, you’ll find it at Spirit of Texas Festival. SoTxFEST has 4 stages featuring many genres from Country to Red Dirt, Gospel to Jazz, from Funk to Classical, from Cowboy to Zydeco.

Our family of sponsors includes local businesses, educational institutions, clubs, civic organizations, restaurants, record companies, and private individuals who love and support all things Texas.

World’s Longest Ice Cream Sundae attempt, $10,000 BBQ Cook-Off, $11,000 Curbside Smack Down Food Truck Contest, Craft Beer Contest & Beer Garden and over 100 vendors dedicated to “All Things Texas” .
