Do you love shopping markets but hate the admission fees and crazy crowds? Well, now you can browse and shop from quality, diverse vendors from across Texas at the Trading Market at the 2nd annual Spirit of Texas, presented by H-E-B’s Creamy Creations! The event will be held March 23-25 at Wolf Pen Creek Park in College Station, Texas and admission to the grounds is free.
The Trading Market, which is sponsored by the famous Big Red Barn of Round Top, will offer everything you want and everything you didn’t know you needed! Anything from antiques to collectables to treasure, and other things you can’t find anywhere else! Vendors include crowd favorites, such as Texas Hill Country Olive Co. oils and vinegars, Lone Star Bee Co. honey, and To The Moon home goods and clothing. Check out the full list of vendors on the festival’s website.
If the festival’s Trading Market sparks your shopping appetite, be sure to check out the Original Round Top Antiques Fair, which is organized by the Big Red Barn. The antiques market is celebrating its 50th anniversary during Spring Antique Week (April 2-7).
“We are so excited about the Spirit of Texas Festival,” said Susan Frank, who co-owns the Big Red Barn with her husband. “We’re especially pleased by the inclusion of the Trading Market – you have to have shopping! We can’t wait to see what the vendors sell — from great clothes to great food products — and it is all for a great cause. Supporting charities through a family event like the Spirit of Texas Festival is something you can’t pass up!”
