The Spirit of Texas Festival, presented by H-E-B’s Creamy Creations, is pleased to announce that Bolner’s Fiesta Spices, College Station Ford, College Station Medical Center (The Med) and Kristen Distributing will be sponsors for the three-day event. The festival will be held March 23-25 at Wolf Pen Creek Park in College Station, Texas. Admission is free.

The 2nd annual festival, celebrating all things Texas, offers participants the opportunity to enjoy diverse musical performances, vendors competing in the Curbside Smackdown Food Truck Competition, a BBQ cook-off, IDEA Village educational pods, a trading market, a performance area for future stars of Texas and a pony hop rodeo.

Of special note, festival participants will have a chance to help attempt to set a Guinness World Record by building and eating the world’s longest ice cream sundae using H-E-B’s Creamy Creations ice cream and toppings on March 24 at 4PM. The current record set in 2016 stands at 3,627 ft. 8.8 inches, according to the Guinness World Record.

The festival offers a family-friendly atmosphere. “Our festival gives families the opportunity to explore some of the best that Texas has to offer, all in one place. In addition, this event offers something for everyone in the family – the shopper, the foodie, the music lover, the budding performer,” said Cynthia Caronna, the festival’s executive director. “We appreciate the support of companies such as

Bolner’s Fiesta Spices, College Station Ford, The Med and Kristen Distributing in making Spirit of Texas a true destination festival for participants across the state.”

The Spirit of Texas Festival is supporting nonprofits whose work affect the lives of youth: the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley; Von’s Vision (founded by Texas A&M football legend Von Miller); K9s4KIDs; and Mobility Worldwide.
